Is Alan Jackson Dead? Country Music Star’s Death Rumors Disproved!

Is Alan Jackson Dead? Despite a widespread online death hoax, it appears that Alan Jackson is still alive and continuing to live the “honky-tonk dream.” On November 16, a dubious news site called FNews2 published a picture of the “Chattahoochee” singer in a frame with candles and red roses surrounding him with the news that he had passed away at 64.

Rumors regarding Jackson’s passing circulated on social media platforms like WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and more when the website reported that he had passed away. Jackson’s latest Instagram post, which features a recording of the late country icon’s most recent acceptance speech at the CMA Awards, appears to allude to the death rumor even though he and his crew haven’t specifically addressed it.

Jackson experienced a “wonderful night” at the 56th Annual CMA Awards one week before the online death rumors first surfaced. He received the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, and tribute performances were presented to him by Carrie Underwood, Jon Pardi, Lainey Wilson, and Dierks Bentley.

The Georgian posted a picture of himself and his family on his tour bus backstage at the prestigious awards presentation with his wife Denise, and their three kids Mattie, Alexandra, and Dani the following day. What a great evening at the @CMA Awards with loved ones, friends, and supporters.

Jackson tagged his photo with “#CMAAwards.” Jackson’s eldest child, Mattie Jackson Selecman, also shared a number of images from the event along with a touching message to her father on social media. “I have seen Dad perform so many times I lost count. Selecman began, “32 years of award shows, a few White House trips, backstage, and sound booths, you name it. “But over the past couple of years, I’ve started to see other people watch him too—all the fans, heck, even incredibly successful musicians.”

The next thing Mattie said was how crucial it was for her to understand how her father’s music and career had impacted others. “Dad constantly watched George, Hank, and Loretta with the same sense of awe, admiration, and sheer joy in their eyes. The Georgian lanky blond cowboy is now a legend to those who follow, whether he’ll confess it or not”, Mattie said.

“You made sporting tattered jeans and mustaches fashionable. You’ve consistently gotten our feedback and incorporated it into your songs. More generously than most people would ever realize, you’ve donated what you’ve made. When the world was in despair, you gave it hope. You also reminded us what true living and real love are, and you gave the voice of the little man to everyone. Congratulations on receiving the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award from the CMA. We adore you a lot, Dado! A lot deserved!”

A few days later, Mattie and Jackson held an engagement party to commemorate their recent engagement. They will get married in six months, according to her post. The Last Call: One More For The Road Tour by Alan Jackson, which visited 30 towns throughout the country earlier this year, has just come to an end. Jackson’s tour was his first significant one following his declaration that he had Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) illness in the fall of 2021.

As previously said by Jackson, “I’ve always adored my heroes like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, and Charley Pride who just play as much as they wanted to, as long as they could.” He said, smiling, “I’ll try to do as much as I can, but if I’m comin’ your way, come visit me. I’ve always thought I’d like to do that, and I’d like to as long as my health will allow.”

For each ticket sold, the country singer donated $1 to the CMT Research Foundation. Several kind CMTRF donors and board members kindly contributed an additional $1.
