When Togusa first arrives in the village, he begins to witness parts of Takashi’s childhood memories. Takashi gives Togusa a seat in the truck towards the conclusion of the memories. Batou then became disoriented and lost sight of Togusa.

Is it possible that Togusa has decided to join Takashi? What will be the ramifications of this on Section 9 as a whole?
