Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances And the Years That Made His Legend, a feature-length documentary package that Disney Original Documentary and Disney+ landed for about $30 million, will include a live stream of John’s final concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the last American stop of his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” as reported exclusively in May.
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is the official Elton John documentary featuring never-before-seen performances throughout his 50-year career and personal writings and video from the present day with his wife and children. The project is intended to premiere at film festivals, have a limited theatrical release, and then be made available on Disney+.
For the most part, the film focuses on Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” which he performed for the last time in North America on November 17, 19, and 20 at Dodger Stadium.
