Alicia Keys announced the cancellation of her sold-out show at SDSU’s Cal Coast Credit Union Amphitheatre at noon on Friday.
Keys posted on her social media accounts, “I’m unfortunate to announce that tonight’s event will have to be postponed due to extreme weather. I’m working on setting up a new date with you. I promise to put up a spectacular show! Your email will soon contain further instructions regarding your ticket. We appreciate your kindness, tolerance, and tolerance.

The concert scheduled for Friday, September 9, by Alicia Keys has been rescheduled due to the threat of bad weather, according to a statement released by Live Nation. All already purchased tickets will be honored when the new date is announced. When more details are available, they will be posted on this page and emailed directly to ticket buyers.
Since a replacement date has not been set, no refunds are being given.

This is the third time Keys’ show here has been rescheduled. A concert scheduled for 2020 at SDSU featuring the 15-time Grammy winner and La Jolla resident was postponed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Her 2021 make-up date at the same SDSU venue was delayed until tonight’s event, which has also been postponed due to the pandemic.
Today, Kool & The Gang’s sold-out outdoor concert at Pala Casino, Spa & Resort has been shifted inside the resort’s indoor event center.
Both tonight’s concerts, by Ben Platt at The Rady Shell in Jacobs Park and Keith Urban at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre, are anticipated to go as planned as of this writing.
Humphreys Concerts by the Bay postponed tonight’s performance by Little River Band due to weather, and now they’ve done the same with the Alicia Keys show.
The San Diego Festival of the Arts also announced yesterday that the two-day edition scheduled for Del Mar this weekend had been canceled due to inclement weather.
