Vagrant Queen, an American science fiction television series, will premiere on Syfy on March 27, 2020, at 9 p.m. ET. Based on the Vault comic book series, which was co-produced by Blue Ice Pictures and written by Magdalene Visaggio, and illustrated by Jason Smith, the program is set in the same universe.
After only one season, the program was canceled in June 2020 by the network. On May 17th, 2019, Syfy announced that Vagrant Queen, a comic book series, had been ordered direct to series by Syfy Networks. CJ DeSanto and Damian Wassel of Vault Comics, together with Blue Ice Pictures, collaborated on the TV show’s development and production.
Danishka Esterhazy and Jem Garrard worked together as showrunners and directors on a number of episodes of the program. Jem Garrard, Mariko Tamaki, and Mika Collins contributed to the show’s writing team, with Gerrard producing about a third of the show’s total episode count.

With unique people and exotic places, it’s a crazy interstellar adventure that’s full of the same humor and passion that made the previous films so exciting.
It was on SyFy on Friday, March 27, 2020, at 10 p.m. ET that Season 1 of “Vagrant Queen” debuted for the first time. Ten episodes, each of which lasted 55-60 minutes, were shown over a two-year period, culminating on June 4, 2020. The fourth episode of the program was initially scheduled to premiere on Friday, April 17, 2020, at 10 p.m. ET, however, it was canceled due to scheduling conflicts.
Consequently, it has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2020, at 11 p.m. Eastern Time. The last episodes of the show were likewise slated to air on Thursdays, indicating that it had been shifted from its original primetime time period. For any channel, this is not a good sign since it implies that they are just burning through the remaining episodes before bringing the show to a close.
The season’s ratings continued to deteriorate throughout the episodes, with the season’s premiere garnering dismal ratings of 0.07 in the 18-49 demographic and around 0.37 million viewers in the first episode. With these issues in mind, the likelihood of renewal is quite minimal.
Season 2 of ‘Vagrant Queen’ will most likely be terminated, in our view, due to low ratings. It has the potential to be renewed for a second season if it is able to find international finance or syndication agreements. The second season of ‘Vagrant Queen’ will premiere in 2022, if this improbable possibility comes to fruition.
Vagrant Queen Season 2 Cast
Adrian Rae portrays Elida, a scavenger who is adamant about not acknowledging her status as Queen. Her art has been included in films such as ‘Light as a Feather and ‘Atlanta.’ Tim Rozon portrays Isaac, her friend who is a serial philanderer. He is well known for his films Diggstown, Wynonna Earp, and Schitt’s Creek, which are among his most well-known works.
Alex McGregor, who previously appeared in the film ‘Spud,’ as Amae, a cynical mechanic who joins Isaac and Elida on their mission. Commander Lazaro is a violent and dishonest foe, and he is played by Paul du Toit, who previously appeared in ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure.’
The characters of Hath and Lead Admiralty Officer are played by Colin Moss, Dengar is played by Leon Clingman, Xevelyn is played by Bonnie Henna, Krob is played by Vash Singh, Chaz is played by Steven John Ward, SAO is played by Richard Wright-Firth, Agent Lloyd is played by Carel Nel, and Drifter is played by Zak Rowlands. Vagrant Queen Recap
Elida, who was once a child Queen, is now an orphaned outcast who travels the galaxy in search of the simplest necessities to survive. Elida has to be on her toes all of the time since the troops of the Republic government are out for her blood. A visit from Elida’s old adversary Isaac, who claims to have discovered that her mother Xevelyn, who was slain by Commander Lazaro, Elida’s childhood adversary, is still alive.
Elida possesses the street smarts and fighter abilities required for the objective, whilst Isaac possesses survival skills. They still don’t have someone on staff who is knowledgeable in automotive engines and other types of machinery. In their quest, they come across an auto mechanic named Amae, and the three of them embark on a journey to free Elida’s mother from her previous kingdom.
Meanwhile, Elida must battle with Commander Lazaro, a power-hungry psychopath, and his army of maniacs, who have been relentlessly attempting to find her down in order to put a stop to her family’s line of descent. Despite the fact that there are still some loyal ministers in the kingdom who push Elida to claim her throne and accept her fate, she is focused only on completing Mission Rescue.
Beyond Lazaro, Elida and her team must deal with cannibalistic beasts, mutant monsters, shootouts, parking tickets, and perilous realms, among other things. Now that Arriopa is in complete chaos, Elida makes one more attempt to defeat Lazaro while fending off an unexpected threat.

According to the TV-PG rating system, Vagrant Queen contains content that parents may find inappropriate for younger children to watch. Several parents may like to watch it with their young children. It is possible that the topic itself will need parental supervision, and that the program will contain one or more of the following elements: some provocative conversation, occasional harsh language, some sexual scenes, and mild violence.
