Tori Bowie, an American sprinter, and long jumper who won three Olympic medals and two world titles, d!ed at 32 in early May due to childbirth complications, as per a report in USA Today. To her agent Kimberly Holland, she was in labor when she passed away.
The agent said she was in her Florida home when she passed away. “Unfortunately, so many people, including the media, are speculating that she did something to herself, which is very hurtful. So hopefully, now knowing the truth, there will be many apologies,” she told the site.
Ms. Bowie had a “well-developed fetus” and was nearly eight months pregnant, by an autopsy report seen. She was in the middle of labor when she passed away last month.
The athletes’ dangers were respiratory distress and eclampsia, a disorder that causes convulsions after a fast rise in blood pressure during pregnancy. The cause of deαth was ruled natural by the Orange County Medical Examiner Officer.

The sprinter brought home three medals at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games: a gold in the 4×100-meter relay, a silver in the 100-meter relay, and a bronze in the 200-meter race. At the 2017 World Championships, she also won the gold medals in the 4×100-meter relay and the 100-meter event.
The most recent significant international tournament she participated in was the World Athletics Championships in 2019, where she finished fourth in the long jump. In June 2022, she competed in her final official match.
