Rahsaan, Lewis III’s younger brother, broke the news of his departure and sent a touching parting note expressing his sh0ck and sadness.
Rahsaan paid tribute to his brother, calling him a “true angel” and expressing his love and admiration for him. He ensured that Ray would “be our guardian,” his niece would “hear about u over and over,” and he would “keep Lewis III’s memory alive and make him proud.”

He established himself as a renowned running back while attending Florida’s Lake Mary Prep High. He ran for an incredible 1,898 yards and scored 20 touchdowns during his senior season, which was an extraordinary effort on the field.
