In Stranger Things, Does Steve Die?

Fans of Stranger Things, the answer to the question “what happens to Steve Harrington?” was provided in the show’s fourth season’s last two episodes, which were made available on Netflix on July 1st. On the program, Joe Keery portrays the most popular character, but I’m curious whether or not we’ll get to see more of him in the upcoming and maybe final season. It appears that the actor will continue to appear in future episodes at least for the time being.

Is Steve Harrington Killed Off In The Fourth Season Of Stranger Things?

Supporters can take a deep sigh of relief now that Steve will not be killed off. Before the premiere of volume 2 of season 4, fans were under the impression that their favorite character would meet an unfortunate end in the upcoming episode.

“I’m sorry but the way they are making Steve so likable and trying to heighten the complexities of his bond/attraction with Nancy this season feels like it’s a setup to kill him off,” one fan shared via Twitter in June. “I really wouldn’t be surprised if he goes in the next chapter.”

A billboard that stated “Protect Steve” was also introduced by Netflix in advance of the release of the episode, which was another way in which the streaming service engaged with the fan theories. Nonetheless, the character has been spared… at least for the time being. It pains us to say this, but we’re relieved that the fans got it incorrect!

In Season 4 Of Stranger Things, What Happens To Steve Harrington?

When Steve, Nancy (played by Natalia Dyer), and Robin (played by Maya Hawke) infiltrate Vecna’s lair, they are essentially putting themselves in danger. To our great relief, all three of them manage to escape unscathed.

Who Actually Dies In Season 4 Of Stranger Things?

Now that the situation with Steve has been resolved, let’s take a look at who actually passes away over the course of the fourth season of the show. Chrissy Cunningham, played by Grace Van Dien, Fred Benson, played by Logan Riley Bruner, and Patrick McKinney, played by Myles Truitt, all met their end in volume 1 after coming face to face with Vecna. The final two episodes of season 4 were filled with more tragic fatalities than any of the previous episodes.

First of all, it turns out that Dr. Brenner, played by Matthew Modine, passes away, but not before setting Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, free so that she can battle Vecna. Fans of Eddie Munson, played by Joseph Quinn, will be disappointed to hear that the newcomer also passes away. The newest bully to appear in this season, Jason Carver, played by Mason Dye, was killed when the portal to the Upside Down was opened in Hawkins.

As Vecna was eventually successful in capturing Max, fans “sort of” bid farewell to her character, Sadie Sink’s Max. Despite the fact that Eleven appears to have brought her back to life, Max is still in a coma. It is yet unknown how her journey will proceed in the conclusion of the show.
