In the new season of The Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian’s skin cαncer fear significantly affected the 38-year-old. The reality show’s third season’s official teaser, which debuted on Hulu on Thursday, gives viewers a glimpse into how ill the Good American creator was last year.
After Khloé discovers melanoma on her cheek, Kris Jenner adds, “This, on her face, is very concerning,” in the video. Khloé’s best friend Malika Haqq said, “I don’t think I’ve seen you this low,” while Kendall Jenner added that her sister “doesn’t sleep” and has “lost a lot of weight.”
The reality star is then seen in the trailer at home with a bandaged face and her sutures following surgery. In a confessional, Khloé acknowledges that melanomas are fatal. “I didn’t realize how serious this would be.”
Khloé updated fans on her health via social media in February after initially disclosing her skin cαncer scare in October 2022.
A follower questioned her about the skin-colored bandage that could be seen on her jawline in the post, “And what the hell is on your cheek?”
“a bandage 🩹,” Khloé replied. “I had a tumor removed from my face but I’m totally ok. Thank you for asking ❤️.”
When a second follower inquired about the bandage, the mother-of-two clarified that it was “a scar strip.”
She continued, “I had a tumor removed from my face a few months ago so I wear this for healing and the prevention of my scar getting worse.” “All is great and healing wonderfully.”
In a series of postings on her Instagram Story last year that included close-up images of her skin, the Kardashians star revealed the news of her spite.
Seven months after recognizing it was not going away, she said, “After noticing a small bump on my face and assuming it was something as minor as a zit, I decided to get it biopsied 7 months after realizing it was not budging.”

She claimed that two doctors who performed biopsies on her believed the bulge to be “incredibly rare” for someone her age.
At the time, Khloé remarked, “I’m happy to report that Dr. Fischer was able to retrieve everything; all my margins appear clear, and now we are onto the healing process.”
“So, here we are… you’ll continue to see my bandages and when I’m allowed, you’ll probably see a scar (and an indentation in my cheek from the tumor being removed) but until then I hope you enjoy how fabulous I’m making these face bandages look.”

Khloé ended her post by expressing her “gratitude” that the tumor was “caught early,” after also disclosing that she had melanoma removed from her back when she was 19.
According to The Mayo Clinic, skin cαncer is the abnormal growth of skin cells that often appears on skin exposed to sunlight, namely the sun’s UV rays. Melanoma is one of the three main kinds of skin cαncer, according to the Skin Cαncer Foundation.
