In the last two games, Fraser Forster, who was introduced at St. James’ Park, has filled in for Lloris, and he will do so once again on Saturday against Crystal Palace.
Since Lloris’ contract expires in 2012, there is conjecture that he may quit the team he joined more than ten years ago.

Mason continued, “You have to be very careful with these types of injuries. We observe that they occasionally recur. He is being evaluated daily. He is improving, but it is probably too early to predict when he will return.”
Tottenham is now ranked seventh in the Premier League, nine points behind Manchester United in fourth position despite having played one more game.
