Geraldo Rivera Wife: Where Did They Met For The First Time?

Geraldo Rivera is a journalist and political commentator. His work has been exciting, but his love life has been even more so. His controversial talk show, which ran for nine seasons from 1987 to 1998, was once led by a man who had been married five times.

Rivera had four kids at the time. He had a son named Gabriel with his ex-wife Sherryl Raymond, a boy named Cruz with his ex-wife Cynthia Cruickshank, and daughters named Simone and Isabella with Cynthia Cruickshank.

After the last one ended, he fell in love again and married his current wife, Erica Michelle Levy. During their marriage, he became a father for the fifth time. Let’s find out more about Geraldo’s wife and learn more about him as a media figure.

Who is Geraldo Rivera’s Wife?

Levy was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio. His parents, Nancy, and the late Howard Levy, who worked for NBC Universal for many years as a TV director, raised him. In 2001, she started working as a director on Geraldo’s CNBC show Rivera Live. Her now-husband was 58 years old at the time.

Even though they were 31 years apart in age, they started dating soon after she started working on his show. On August 10, 2003, they got married. After two years, in 2005, they had a girl named Solita Liliana Rivera.

When Was The First Time Erica Met Geraldo?

Erica met Geraldo when she was a director on his show and he was a guest. After getting a degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin, she chose to do what her father, Howard Levy, did. Before he died of prostate cancer in 2007, he worked for NBC Universal as a lawyer and a TV director. This gave Levy some information about the company.

After she graduated and moved to New York, she got a job in 2001 as a writer on Geraldo Rivera’s CNBC show “Rivera Live.” Levy was 26 years old at the time, and the man she was going to marry was 58. Soon after, they started dating, and they were together for two years before getting married.

Levy and Rivera got married at Manhattan’s Central Synagogue on August 10, 2003, in front of many of their loved ones. At the time of her wedding, Levy worked for Maraville Productions, which was owned by her husband.

As the executive producer of “Geraldo’s Voyager: From Roots to the Rain Forest,” one of Rivera’s many shows that aired on the Travel Channel, she was more involved with his projects.

Erica Is A Democrat, Even Though Her Husband Was Close To Donald Trump.

Geraldo Rivera, a writer who is a Republican, has always supported former President Donald Trump. They used to be close friends and have a long past together. Erica Michelle Levy, who makes documentaries, is his wife. She is on the other side of the aisle. Rivera, a friend of President Joe Biden, said that the couple’s home was under stress before the 2020 election.

Rivera told Page Six that–

“There are tensions at home. My wife and daughter are very active and contribute to the Democrats. They put this sign on my lawn, and I was horrified!”

Rivera wants to run for Senate, but it looks like he has no plans to join the Democratic Party. He is no longer on the same side as Trump. Rivera has promised that he won’t let his old friend back into the White House because of how he behaved during the Capitol riots and how he didn’t want to lose the 2020 election.

Rivera has said that his marriage is not defined by the fact that he and his wife have different political views. Instead, they spend their time fishing and taking it easy at their home in Shaker Heights, Cleveland. When Rivera leaves “The Five” in June 2023, it seems like Levy will have a lot more time to spend with her husband and kids.
