He’s right, her ears shouldn’t be there. Elon Musk doesn’t seem to like the idea that his ex-girlfriend Grimes wants “elf ear surgery.” The 34-year-old musician said on Twitter on Monday that she was interested in getting the procedure to make her ears pointy.
“Has anyone had good luck with elf ear mods? I’m afraid that my ear cartilage won’t heal well. Even more so because I’m a musician, this surgery seems risky, but I’ve always wanted it. Curious about peoples experiences !
Also, has anyone done elf ear mods with a good outcome? Im scared about ear cartilage having a hard time healing. Especially as a musician this surgery seems risky but Iβve wanted it my whole life. Curious about peoples experiences !

But Musk, who has two children with Grimes, responded in a way that seemed to show he didn’t agree and included some trolling.
“The cons of elf ear surgery probably outweigh the pros,” the 51-year-old CEO of Tesla said.

Grimes then said, “Tbh, this sounds like a job for crispr,” referring to the repetitive DNA sequences found in bacteria with “spacer” DNA sequences in between the repeats that exactly match viral sequences. She also said, “It’s sad that I was born just a few generations too soon.”
Grimes, who wore metal elf ears to the Met Gala in 2021 and became famous for it, said she was interested in making other changes to her body and even said she had made an appointment with a plastic surgeon two years ago but never went through with it.

“Also, does anyone know of any great, safe, and trustworthy people in Austin or Los Angeles who could do vampire teeth caps on me?” she asked on Monday. “Also, are there any good places in either of these cities that change elf ears? (I’m still thinking about this surgery, but cartilage doesn’t heal, so it would need stitches that stay in place.)”
Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, told the public that she was asking for advice on her plans to get plastic surgery because she wanted to make talking about it less embarrassing.
“P.S. Sorry if it’s weird to talk about this out in the open, but it seems unhealthy that everyone in the media hides body modifications, which makes people feel bad about themselves,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’m also less interested in traditional beauty (I’ll keep my nose), but I’m more interested in what else would look sick. It’s dr kao.
Ps sorry if weird 2 discuss this openly, just seems unhealthy how every1 in media hides body mods, then ppl feel self conscious. Im also less interested in conventional beauty (I will keep my nose) – but moreso is there anything else that wud look sick? Itβs dr kao

The “Genesis” singer also said that she is already working on a “full-body tattoo plan” and plans to spend the next few years changing her body.
Some fans liked that Grimes was honest about wanting plastic surgery, but others thought she should keep her body the way it is.
“I apologize. I just don’t understand. She has always been pretty. I think it’s a waste of pain,” one person wrote.
“I don’t think you need to change anything if you forgot about the appointment. Also about conventional beauty, a second person agreed, “I think it’s conventional to try to change your appearance to get what you want, so maybe leaving things the way they are now is conventional.”
