Ginny talks about how her mother is not a “normal mom” at the beginning of Season 2, Episode 4. Georgia goes on to say that they shouldn’t follow the rules because they weren’t made for them. As this story is being told, Georgia sees Marcus breaking into their house.
Ginny decides to ignore Marcus because she’s on her period and doesn’t want to deal with him. Marcus thinks that it doesn’t feel good for the first time. After that, Marcus hides while Georgia opens the door. She asks Ginny for help at CVS to get her birth control. Ginny leaves, and Georgia tells Marcus to come out of the closet where he is hiding.
Marcus comes out of the closet, and then Georgia asks him a few questions. Marcus says that he cares about Ginny. Georgia tells Marcus that Ginny is one of a kind and that she will leave them all one day. Georgia asks Marcus not to hold her back when “the time is right.” Marcus makes her promises. Then Georgia wins the comedy contest and tells him that she will kill him if he makes her pregnant.
When Ginny goes back into the room, she finds that her mother has set both of them up. After Marcus has left, Georgia tells Ginny that he loves her.
