No official details have been disclosed about the plot or characters of the next Avengers films to be released in 2025, but their titles alone reveal what spectators might expect. After making his Loki season 1 debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, plans for The Kang Dynasty have already been set in motion. In the same way that Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame formed a two-part tale, Avengers 5 and 6 are set to do the same.

When creating a mock-up poster for Avengers: Secret Wars, digital artist Hazzaa Jarrar was inspired by this concept. This film features a diverse cast of characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Each of them takes on Doctor Doom, the film’s villainous progenitor. Look at the image below:

This fan poster’s depiction of Iron Man and Captain America returning to the Sacred Timeline is based on the original Marvel Comics Secret Wars event. To what extent would Marvel Studios and Downey Jr. and Evans, as individuals, be receptive to such an idea? It will be six years since the actors’ last appearance in Avengers: Endgame when Avengers: Secret Wars is released.

Because of the Multiverse Saga’s rapid storytelling pace, significant concluding tasks will be completed considerably sooner. To avoid cheapening both Iron Man’s and Captain America’s final outings, bringing them back in 2025 may be premature.

No of what happens with Iron Man and Captain America, moviegoers should not expect them to play major roles in Avengers: Secret Wars. As with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home, their possible involvement would be restricted. Instead, the MCU’s current stars like Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel are expected to be the focus of attention.

Iron Man and Captain America are so little in this poster that it suggests the creator believes this will be the case. It’s hard to deny that, given how much fans adore these two characters, their reappearance in the MCU would be a welcome sight for many.
