Authorities said they found the lifeless body of a 22-year-old woman in northern Wyoming. She believed to be the same one, that she disappeared during a walk that she was taking across the country with her boyfriend. Now the reason for the mobilization of the police forces in the natural reserve in Florida.
The FBI reported that the body of Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito was found Sunday by some law enforcement officers who spent the weekend locating camps on the eastern border of Grand Teton National Park.
Charles Jones, the FBI’s supervising special agent, reported that forensic detectives have yet to determine the cause of Petito’s death. At the scene, he did not tell of where and how her body was.
Jones said: “The full forensic identification to confirm 100% that we found Gabby has not been completed, but her family has been notified. This is an incredibly difficult time for (Petito’s) family and friends.”
Her boyfriend is Brian Laundrie, a 23-year-old young man whom the police have identified as a person of interest in the case of Petito’s death. His family last saw him on Tuesday.
Jones, along with the rest of the law enforcement officials, is reluctant to answer any questions from the media regarding the Petito case, which they demonstrated during the Sunday night conference in Grand Teton announcing the discovery of the body.
In a statement, the attorney in charge of being the Petito family’s spokesperson kindly asked the press to allow the family space to mourn Gabby’s death.
Additionally, the lawyer, Richard Benson Stafford, informed the media that the family would make a public statement in a few days and thanked the FBI, the police, Grand Teton Search and Rescue, and all the agencies that have participated in the search.
Jones reported that the undeveloped camping area on the east side of Grand Teton Park, which borders National Forest Lands, will remain closed until further notice while investigations finished.
Likewise, he said that the investigators were still looking for any information that anyone could have seen from Petito or Laundrie around the camp located in the Spread Creek area, where the new reinforcements of the search squad the forces of order audience rallied over the weekend.

The young couple began the cross-country hike in July in a converted truck and was tasked with visiting national parks in the western United States. Police said Laundrie was driving the van back to his parent’s home in North Port, Florida, on Sept. 1.
On Sunday, more than 50 law enforcement officers began the second day of searching for Laundrie in the more than 24,000-acre Carlton Reservation in Sarasota County, Florida, a wildlife area with more than 100 miles of trails, as well as camps.
