Megyn Kelly, who served as a Fox News anchor from 2004 until 2017, is portrayed by Theron. She is one of many women who speak out against Alies in the movie.
We don’t know much about Charlize Theron’s character Kelly’s real-life spouse, Douglas Brunt, played by Mark Duplass, even though we’re still not over her fabulous makeover for the movie.

Who Is Megyn Kelly Married?
Megyn Kelly and Douglas Brunt, her spouse of 11 years, are expressing their love for one another. On Sunday, Brunt shared a heartfelt message about his wife of more than ten years while tweeting a picture from his 2008 wedding to the former Fox News and Today host.
Brunt began, “@Guypbenson wedding made me remember our own in 2008,” alluding to the wedding of Guy Benson, Kelly’s former Fox News coworker, which the couple attended this past weekend.
The 48-year-old former company CEO and novelist continued, “I love this amazing woman more every day.” “Years later, lots of laughs and blessed w/three beautiful kids. Can’t imagine living this life with anyone else – wish I could slow it down.”
Kelly shared her husband’s post the following day and added a touching caption about their union.
“You know how you sometimes think, “I’m not going to find it. It may not happen for me”? Well it’s not true,” she wrote. “Keep the faith. Work on making your own life full, with or w/out a partner. Then one day, someone like @DougBrunt walks in and *that* is your before and after.”

Kelly previously wed anesthesiologist Daniel Kendall from 2001 until 2006; Brunt is her second spouse. She has three children with Brunt: Thatcher is six, Yardley is eight; and Edward is nine.
The couple attended the wedding of Benson, 34, and Adam Wise, his lover of almost four years, in front of 150 guests this past weekend at the Charles Krug Winery in Napa Valley, California.
When Benson promoted his new book, End Of Discussion, on an edition of The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly in 2015, Wise saw the piece and decided to email Benson. They wanted Kelly to be a part of their special day since they finally met, started dαting, and engaged.

“When we were drawing up our list, there are tons of people that we socialize with all the time,” Benson told PEOPLE.
“We don’t socialize all the time with Megyn; we’ll occasionally exchange notes, but just given what she did with us, with me, for me four years ago, there was no way that I was not going to invite her to this culmination of that journey that in some ways began on her show.”
Since Kelly’s Today Morning show was cancelled almost a year ago, the journalist has kept a quiet profile and prioritized her family.
The five-person family visited Big Sky, Montana, in July. Brunt posted pictures of Kelly ziplining through the breathtaking mountains, dubbed her the “Cable Queen.”

They also went to a rodeo in Big Sky, and Brunt uploaded a picture of Kelly and their kids there, all decked out in cowboy hats and boots and holding hands.
In the past, Kelly’s buddy told PEOPLE that she was “looking forward to her next chapter.” “She’s expected to be back in action soon,” said the friend. “She will work again.”
