The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 Release Date: There are still several important issues that merit bringing up after the season 4 dramatic finale of the Amazon Prime Video dramedy occurred back in March. What is going on in Midge’s (Rachel Brosnahan) romantic life?
Will she eventually meet Luke Kirby’s, Lenny Bruce? How will Joel’s (Michael Zegen) family continue to respond to Mei (Stephanie Hsu) becoming pregnant with his child? Will Rose (Marin Hinkle) continues with her matchmaking business despite threats from some seasoned matchmakers to stay out of their affairs?
We’ll start hatching plans over here if Susie Myerson’s (Alex Borstein) antics don’t continue in the upcoming season. In other words, we’re a little anxious to find out if our favorite Jewish comedian’s TV program will have a fifth season. Fortunately, there are solutions, even if they may not be what we were hoping for.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 5 on Amazon is now known as follows:
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Season 5 Release Date
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s fourth season premiered on February 18, 2022, more than two years after the release of season 3 in December 2019. The COVID-19 epidemic caused a delay in the production of Season 4. The series began production in January 2021, not in 2020 at all.
Mrs. Maisel was given the go-ahead for a fifth and final season on February 17, 2022, the day before the launch of season 4 on Prime Video. Season 5 of the show was already in development, according to the streaming service, and it would premiere in February 2022. Although a release date hasn’t been set, season 5 is expected to begin airing in the early months of 2023.

Milo Ventimiglia, star of the television series This Is Us, is another actor returning after making a brief appearance in season 4. Viewers may remember him as the married “Handsome Man” who Midge slept with at the end of the previous season. Many people wanted to see more of the former Gilmore Girls actor.
He was spotted working with Rachel Brosnahan in June, and we may learn more about his character’s past, including his identity. Executive producer Daniel Palladino said “Milo and Rachel” will have a more excellent, longer part 2. “Yes, we will learn his name.” The Gilmore Girls actress isn’t the only one appearing this season. Kelly Bishop will also come back in a series regular role.
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Season 5 Plot
Midge finds herself entering a new world by acquiring and remodeling an illegal strip club throughout season four. She needed a Hail Mary, though, for the club had been raided. She declines an offer from Lenny Bruce (Luke Kirby) to perform as an opening act at the famed Carnegie Hall. Later, he reprimands her for being so demanding of the possibilities given to her when she cannot order them.
After years of conflict, they at least briefly interact. After arguing with Lenny, the headliner that night, Midge storms out of the venue and into the outdoor blizzard in the finale of “How Do You Get to Carnegie Hall?” She has a lot on her mind and is considering her options.
She can be seen looking up at a poster for The Gordon Ford Show in the film’s closing seconds, the same TV show for which she had rejected an opening role. Luke Kirby, who portrays Lenny Bruce (a real-life comic from the time), has stated he will return, but the character’s heroin addiction will soon begin to take root.
In truth, Lenny passed away in 1966 at 40 from a drug overdose. That is barely five years in the series’ history from when we left him with Maisel in season four.

While a time jump for the fifth season would allow the show to address this if it chose to, it is unlikely that we will see it happen in season four. According to Luke, “We felt a little bit of a kind of duty to start touching on the components of Lenny Bruce’s life that led up to his dying young.” “This season, we’re sort of dragging Lenny Bruce down to Earth a little bit and kind of investigating that,”
