There is not much new to report about the latest iPad Pro, save for the fact that it’s the fastest tablet we’ve ever tested. In this iPad Pro M2 2022 review, I’ll go over the tablet’s main features, and how it differs from last year’s model and ultimately try to help you decide whether or not Apple’s premium tablet is right for you.
If you’re an Apple Pencil devotee, someone who shoots or encodes a lot of photos and video on an iPad, or someone upgrading from a much older, slower iPad, the new 2022 iPad Pro has a lot going for you.
Apple’s new premium tablet has the same stunning display, lightweight design, and great keyboard experience. It presents a solid CPU/GPU upgrade to what is already the fastest, most capable tablet around. The iPad Pro M2 is the best tablet out there for serious creatives who want the power of a laptop and the flexibility of a touchscreen.
What’s Special About iPad Pro M2?
If you’re new to iPads or own a much older model, the iPad Pro 2022 is an easy device to recommend. The iPad Pro M2 is one of the most powerful machines I’ve ever gotten my hands on, delivering blissfully speedy performance in everyday use and outpacing every tablet we’ve ever tested.
Its laptop-grade power comes as no surprise. You simply won’t find a more powerful tablet than this. Put it next to last year’s iPad Pro and you wouldn’t be able to tell much difference until you install a benchmarking app. Apple didn’t make any changes to the iPad Pro’s display for this year, and it didn’t need to.
Design-wise, the iPad Pro 2022 is indistinguishable from the iPad Pro 2021 and iPad Pro 2020. The 2022 iPad Pro has much of the same internal hardware as the 2021 models, including the display, cameras, storage and memory options, microphones and speakers, battery, and single USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port.
The iPad Pro 2022 measures 11.04 x 8.46 x 0.25 inches and weighs 1.5 pounds, which is the same as last year’s model. The iPad Pro 2022 I reviewed has a gigantic 12.9-inch mini-LED display with a resolution of 2,732 x 2,048 pixels and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. That’s a whole lot of screen space for watching your favorite YouTube videos or Netflix shows.
The Magic Keyboard bumps the weight up to 3 pounds, which is just a smidge heavier than the MacBook Air 2022 and Dell XPS 13 OLED 2022, which weigh 2.7 pounds each.
The device has Smart HDR 4 and supports Bluetooth 5.3. New iPad OS 16 features such as Stage Manager and Apple Pencil Hover also work great on this tablet. Wi-Fi and 5G versions are available.
You will be impressed by the richness of the colors and the stark contrast between dark and light elements in iPad Pro M2.
Watch Apple iPad Pro M2:
Ahead of the time of its launch, the first reviews of the new iPad Pro have now been shared by select media publications and YouTube channels.
When iPad Pro M2 launched?
The new iPad Pro launched in stores on Wednesday, October 26. You can order the new iPad Pro 2022 from the Apple online store. Same design as last year’s model. Comes in Space Gray or Silver. This could be a negative for those who wanted the iPad Pro to feature as many color options as the new iPad 2022. Easy to use for many hours.
Reviews on iPad Pro M2:
The iPad Pro 2022 is an interesting product to review. The new iPad Pro can detect the second-generation Apple Pencil while it hovers up to 12mm above the display, allowing users to see a preview of their drawing before they make it.
The new iPad Pro packs a faster M2 chip and a new Apple Pencil Hover feature, solidifying its best tablet status. On its own, it’s one of the best tablets out there due to its elegant design and powerful new M2 processor.
Someone said,” Watching the trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water, I was impressed by iPad M2 by seeing the richness of the colors and the stark contrast between dark and light elements. The world of Pandora is drenched in blues, and the iPad Pro was able to make each hue look crisp and distinctive.
The large display almost made me feel as if I was watching a movie trailer at a movie theater.

What we don’t like about iPad Pro M2?
Compared to M1-based iPads or even older A12X and A12Z models, the M2 isn’t a revolutionary upgrade. Just as many of the iPad Pro’s best features have gone untouched, so has its high price.
