“No suspicious circumstances” surround Paul Cattermole’s passing, according to authorities. Yesterday, it was revealed that the musician, 46, had passed away, shocking his colleagues and ex-girlfriend Hannah Spearritt.
Paul’s body was discovered at his £172,000 property in Dorset on Thursday, although the cause of death is unknown.
According to a statement issued by his family: “We regret to inform you of the sudden demise of Paul Cattermole, our loving son and brother.
“Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.” For a response, Dorset Police has been contacted by The Mirror.

After learning of his sudden passing, S Club 7 paid respect to Paul and stated that “no words” could adequately express their sorrow. The statement from the band read:
“We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. “
He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.”
Fans and celebrity friends of Paul have been expressing their recollections of the late star in a flood of tributes.
Only one day after being photographed appearing in high spirits while strolling around the countryside, the musician was discovered dead. His loss occurred only a few weeks after S Club 7 revealed their intention to tour again as a septet to mark their 25th anniversary later this year.
It’s unclear whether Paul’s untimely passing would affect the tour set to start in October of this year. Paul recently told reporters that a tarot card reading suggested the reunion tour was good, so he appeared to be looking forward to returning to the stage.
About two months prior, Paul, a self-proclaimed sharp psychic, revealed that he had read the cards to determine what the future contained for him and his bandmates. “I saw wheel of fortune – that’s good, that’s good luck. I genuinely did look at the cards,” he said.
