NBA YoungBoy Early Life

Kentrell DeSean Gaulden was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on October 20, 1999. His maternal grandmother reared him for most of his childhood due to his father’s 55-year prison sentence.
In a toddler wrestling battle, Gaulden fractured his neck, requiring the usage of a head brace that left scars on his forehead. After being a teenage dropout from high school due to robbery, he started writing lyrics while detained at a correctional centre in Tallulah, Louisiana.
Following his release, Gaulden found out about his grandmother’s passing. He moved in with fellow rapper and friend NBA 3Three, with whom he committed crimes, to pay for studio time.
In 2015, Gaulden released “Life Before Fame,” his debut mixtape. After that, he dropped several more mixtapes, including “Before I Go,” “Mind of a Menace,” and “38 Baby,” the latter of which featured guest appearances by Stroke Tha Don and Boosie Badazz, two more rappers.
Following that, Gaulden became well-known for his public battle with rapper Scotty Cain, during which the two made threats to kill one another in song lyrics. With his arrest in Austin, Texas, on suspicion of trying to commit first-degree murder, Gaulden became even more well-known.
He released two of his earlier mixtapes once again while serving time in East Baton Rouge Parish prison.

NBA YoungBoy Hit Singles and Albums

August 2017 saw the release of Gaulden’s latest mixtape, “Al YoungBoy,” which came after the release of the star-studded music video for his song “41.” The song that became his biggest hit to date, “No Smoke,” and “Untouchable,” peaked at number 24 on the Billboard 200.
When “Outside Today” peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2018, it saw even greater success. Shortly after, Gaulden published “Until Death Call My Name,” his debut studio album, which peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200.
2018 saw Gaulden release “Master the Day of Judgement,” a new mixtape. That summer of that year, he put out four EPs, each with four tracks. He then released two more mixtapes, “Decided” and “Realer.”
By January 2019, Gaulden had become one of YouTube’s Top Music Artists because of his regular, exclusive releases. After serving a 14-month house detention that barred him from making music, Gaulden returned to the charts in October 2019 with the release of his collaborative track “Bandit,” starring rapper Juice Wrld.
Gaulden’s track reached his highest chart position to date, peaking at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Shortly after, he dropped his mixtape “Al YoungBoy 2,” which landed at the top of the Billboard 200.
With over 144 million on-demand audio streams in just its first week of release, the album went on to become one of the largest streaming debuts of the year. If you would want to learn more about the riches of other well-known individuals, you may bookmark
