Thor: Cherish and Sigh is now available on Disney+ as part of Disney+ Day, and all subscribers can watch it for no extra cost. The movie, directed by Taika Waititi, stars Chris Hemsworth as God of Sigh, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Korg as they go up against Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher.
Waititi also directed Thor: Ragnarok, the third movie in the Thor series, and he made sure to include some of the things that made Cherish and Sigh stand out. Fans talked extensively about Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth’s cameos in Ragnarok. In a play set in Asgard, they played Actor Thor and Actor Loki, reenacting what happened in Thor: The Dark World.

In Cherish and Sigh, the two actors came back to the MCU and played the same hilarious stage actors they had played before. Melissa McCarthy, who played Actress Hela, joined them this time, and the three of them put on a play about the end of Asgard, which happened during Ragnarok. Now that the movie is on Disney+, the actors have been thinking about their cameos, and it seems like many of them had a great time.
Matt Damon On His MCU Return
On the same day Thor: Cherish and Sigh became available on Disney+, a brand new episode of Wonder Studios: Assembled made its debut on the streaming channel. This particular episode featured never-before-seen interviews with the film’s cast and crew, behind-the-scenes footage from the movie’s production, and other content.
In the documentary, Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth offered their opinion on recreating their roles as Actor Loki and Actor Thor, as well as the stress-free experience they had while shooting the theatrical version of Ragnarok.
Damon commented briefly about their participation in Ragnarok. He mentioned that they intended to “one-up the component (they) performed last time,” and he also added that returning to lend support to those characters once more was “really, truly stress-free:”
“What rather a great deal of of us talked about about the main time is that it used to be so rapidly that rather a great deal of of us didn’t even know we were within the film. We were attempting to one-up the ingredient we did ultimate time. We had a ball, it used to be truly, truly stress-free.”
Chris Hemsworth’s brother Luke Hemsworth agreed with Damon and said, “It used to be so stress-free.” Damon talked about the filming environment and how “quite a lot of objective energy on the set.” The Academy Award-winning actor also praised Melissa McCarthy, who played Actor Hela in Love and Sigh:
“Hopefully, of us will dig it. There’s rather a great deal of goal vitality on the dwelling. Rather a great deal of of us having a huge time and making a huge film. It used to be rather a great deal of stress-free with Melissa.”
McCarthy also showed up in the documentary, and it was hard for her to talk about her experiences. She joked that “we keep mistaking her for Cate Blanchett,” who played Hela in the movie Ragnarok:
“This feels goal. And additionally, of us are repeatedly mistaking me for Cate Blanchett. So, I used to be like, ’I don’t know within the occasion that they’ll fetch the shaggy dog story.”
The Thor Humorous Story Retains Running
The plays in the last two Thor movies were not meant to be as funny as they were. It’s no secret that Taika Waititi likes to put a lot of humor and lightheartedness in his movies. The fact that he got Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth to come back for a second time to play the same roles objectively proves how great the atmosphere is at home.
There used to be no information about whether or not Waititi will likely be directing the next Thor movie. At the end of Cherish and Sigh, it was clear that the character would come back in The Long Trod, but it didn’t say where. The director said he would be interested in making a fifth movie in the series, but he did not say whether or not Hemsworth would also be back.
If Marvel Studios does decide to bring him back, it’s probably safe to say that Luke Hemsworth won’t be back as Actor Thor, and he might be joined by another big name who will follow Actor Gorr’s orders. If Thor and Loki get back together in a future episode of Thor 5, Damon could also come back. But, if this is the end of the actors’ journeys in the MCU, it looks like they didn’t not up to now enjoy the time they had.
