John Cena’s Latest Movie, Vacation Friends 2, Has Set An Unwanted Record

Vacation Friends 2, John Cena’s latest film, is gaining popularity for all the wrong reasons. Critics and consumers alike have blasted the sequel to 2021’s Vacation Friends. Furthermore, it has established an unfavorable record for the pro-wrestler-turned-actor’s filmography.

Vacation Friends 2 presently has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 24%, making it the actor’s lowest-rated film since 2011. Even the crowd did not appear to like John Cena’s latest film, giving it a low rating of 45%.

Vacation Friends 2 isn’t the worst movie starring Cena, despite its low Rotten Tomatoes rating; that honor goes to The Reunion. The 2011 action/comedy starring the 16-time world champion received an 8% rating from critics and a 32% rating from the crowd.

“Sam (John Cena), Leo (Ethan Embry) and Douglas (Boyd Holbrook) Cleary are estranged siblings who share one father but have three different mothers. Their father died wealthy, but when their sister (Amy Smart) brings the men together to learn which of them will inherit the money, they get an unpleasant surprise. In order to claim their fortune, Sam, Leo and Douglas must go into business together as bail bondsmen. Their first job takes them to Mexico and an encounter with a dangerous entrepreneur.”

The Cenation Leader will next appear in the film Freelance. The film will be released in theaters on October 6.

John Cena Made USD 2.5 Million For Three Movie Scenes

WWE superstar John Cena made an impact in the comedy world with his part in Trainwreck before establishing his place as a comedic acting powerhouse in HBO’s Peacemaker series. The film, directed by Judd Apatow and starring Bill Hader, hinted at Cena’s comedic potential.

However, getting the participation of the 16-time world champion was no easy task. Cena reportedly demanded a whopping $2.5 million for his brief but memorable role as Schumer’s muscular and inadvertently homoerotic ex-boyfriend.

Despite his humorous on-screen antics, Cena stays committed to significant causes, frequently visiting Make-A-Wish children.

 John Cena’s Comedy Career

Today, John Cena’s comedic talents continue to attract viewers, most notably in his part on the popular comedy program Peacemaker. His $2.5 million salary check for a comedy performance now appears to be a steal in comparison to his current undertakings.
