Originally intended as a fun way to unwind and meet new people, online games proved fatal for Gabriel Kuhn, who, at the age of 12, met fellow gaming pal Daniel Petry, who would go on to execute the most brutal and crazily vile act against the former.
Several years have gone by, and many questions remain unanswered concerning the circumstances of this occurrence, as well as the location of Kuhn’s murderer, who received what many have regarded as a low and undeserved sentence for such a heinous crime. Petry, a 16-year-old Santa Catarina teenager, was charged with a horrible crime that shook the town. Kuhn, 12, was brutally slain in what could only be regarded as a cruel and horrific act.
Kuhn had requested 20,000 Tibia cash, a virtual currency used in the game they were playing, from Petry in order to purchase various products from the online store. Petry initially agreed to lend him the money but requested Kuhn to repeat his request before he could get it. Nobody knew that this seemingly innocuous transaction would have devastating implications.
Petry was increasingly upset with Kuhn’s lack of payback over time. Petry logged onto the private server Kuhn had put up for them to play together on the day of the anticipated reimbursement, expecting to reclaim his Tibia cash. Kuhn, on the other hand, had disconnected Petry from the server with no refund.
Petry, unable to control his wrath, called his mother, Nova Trento, at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the crime to inquire about her arrival time. Later that day, he planned to face Kuhn in person, posing as “ironing things out” between them.
Petry Entered In Kuhn Home
Kuhn had gently invited Petry into his home when he arrived, an act that would later lead to his untimely death. Petry promptly shut the door behind him as he entered the room and unleashed a violent attack on Kuhn, beating him to a pulp.
Kuhn was in critical condition at this point as a result of Petry’s violent thrashing. Despite this, Daniel Petry sex*ally abused his victim, sodomizing Kuhn, who was considerably smaller than him, while the unfortunate lad lay brutalized. Kuhn was brave enough to inform Petry that he would tell his mother about what had happened to him after committing the heinous act.
At this point, Petry determined to take extraordinary measures to permanently silence his victim. He forcibly removed electrical lines and wrapped them tightly around the 12-year-old Kuhn’s neck, choking him until he was motionless.
One may think that this was the worst conceivable conclusion, but Petry’s horrible behaviour was far from ended. He found a saw and began chopping Kuhn’s body to make it lighter and fit into a small crawl space in the corridor, assuming Kuhn was dead. As he slashed his victim’s body, the unthinkable happened: Kuhn awoke and began screaming in anguish.

Daniel Petry’s hacksaw, which he used to cut Gabriel Kuhn into pieces. Petry was amused by Kuhn’s screams, and his malicious grin widened as he continued to sever the 12-year-old Kuhn’s torso, murdering him in the process.
Petry cut Tibia symbols into Kuhn’s body and tried to hide it by hiding it in the crawlspace, like something out of a horror film. When he realized it still wouldn’t fit through the tight entrance, he abandoned the 12-year-old’s decapitated body in the corridor and fled the scene.
Kuhn’s brother returned home a few hours later, only to discover his younger brother’s decapitated body. He screamed for aid and alerted neighbours, who called the cops. The killer-teenager was apprehended shortly after the authorities learned of the online fight between Petry and Kuhn.
After being questioned by authorities, Petry unhesitantly confessed to the murder of Kuhn, detailing exactly how he carried out the illegal deed with no remorse. The accused further alleged that Kuhn was a thief who duped him.
In a supposed last communication of Petry, he was quoted as saying ;
“Gabriel cheated and I will make him pay for all his actions; as he said that there is Heaven and Hell, there in Hell is he; I will find him there and take revenge again.”
Kuhn’s autopsy was released after Petry was apprehended, and it revealed that the victim’s rectum had been sexually molested. When asked about this act, Petry claimed that he had sodomized Kuhn, causing the police officers to ask if he was gay, a question that triggered Petry. He erupted and angrily denied being gay.
As the incident gained national exposure in Brazil, the public hoped that justice would be done; the adolescent killer would either be imprisoned for life or face the death penalty. However, in an unusual turn of events, Petry was charged as a kid and was sentenced to three years in a juvenile detention prison.

Daniel Felipe Petry was born in 1991 in Brazil. He was from Blumenau, Santa Catarina. According to reports, Petry grew reared in a toxic atmosphere, which may have contributed to his violent inclinations. His parents even had him through psychological diagnostic examinations. Nothing was found to be wrong with him, so he stopped his treatment and checked out of the hospital.
Petry was claimed to despise physicians and hospitals and to have never spoken throughout his psychiatric intervention sessions. He also ceased attending school, giving his peers and teachers the impression that he was receiving psychological treatment, which was not the truth.
