Casey Wasserman Personal life
It has been revealed that Casey is married to Laura Ziffren and that he serves as CEO of the Wasserman Foundation, which was created by his grandpa in 1952 and focuses on charitable endeavours.
He also serves on two of the Motion Picture and Television Fund’s three boards of directors. The next year, Wasserman co-chaired a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, advocating for Los Angeles to bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Casey demolished the existing structures on all three parcels and replaced them with a single mega-mansion. Los Angeles Avengers were purchased by Wasserman in 1998. He paid about $5 million for the franchise rights and was elected head of the league despite his youth.
A pioneering national television contract, and the league’s collective bargaining agreement with its players were negotiated in 2002 by his administration. As of Saturday, April 18, 2009, Wasserman informed the de facto commissioner of the Arena Football League via email that the Los Angeles Avengers had decided to discontinue their affiliation with the league.
Even back in 1998, Wasserman started a sports marketing and talent management agency named Wasserman (then known as Wasserman Media Group), and he is still CEO. In 2016, the Wasserman Media Group relaunched as “Team Wass” and dropped the name “Wasserman.”
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti tapped Casey Wasserman to spearhead the city’s Olympic bid in 2014. This year, Paris was chosen to host the Summer Olympics in 2024, while Los Angeles was selected for the Summer Olympics in 2028 by the International Olympic Committee.
According to reports, Wasserman wrote to IOC President Thomas Bach pushing him to change Rule 50, which stipulates; “No type of demonstration or political, religious and racial propaganda is authorized in any Olympic sites or venues or other locations”.
He said in his letter to the IOC that being anti-racist is not political, and asked that the rules that underpin Rule 50 of the Olympic Charter be changed so that anti-racist activism can take place on the Olympic stage.
Wasserman is also quite active in the philanthropic community. The Los Angeles Police Foundation receives considerable funding from the Wasserman Foundation (LAPF). As a board member of Activision Blizzard since 2015, Wasserman serves on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee as one of three members of the committee.
CEO Bobby Kotick was accused by The Wall Street Journal in November 2021 of hiding sexual abuse reports, including allegations of rape, from his employees. The Board has been criticized for its continued support of Kotick.
