It’s one of those anime television series, such as Blood Lad (also known as Buraddo Raddo in Japanese), that has kept fans waiting for the greatest amount of time while being one of the best in its genre. Yuuki Kodama writes and illustrates the dark comedic fantasy anime television series, which is based on the same-named manga series. The series is written and illustrated by Yuuki Kodama. The first volume of the manga series was published on September 4, 2009, and the series had a total of 17 volumes published between 2009 and 2016, with the last volume being published on September 3, 2016. Soon after, the manga was adapted into an anime television series, and the first episode of season 1 of ‘Blood Lad’ aired on July 8, 2013, marking the debut of the series. After season 1, the show was a huge success, and a special original video animation (OVA) episode was aired on December 4, 2013, which had fans clamoring for a second season to be produced.
‘Blood Lad‘ fans are now eagerly awaiting the premiere of season 2, and here’s all we know about whether or not there will be a second season of this fantastic show.
Blood Lad Season 2 Release Date Confirmed Officially or Cancelled
Season One premiered on July 8, 2013, and ran until September 9, 2013, when the show was canceled. An OVA episode named ‘Blood Lad: Wagahai wa Neko de wa Nai‘ was published on December 3, 2013, following the conclusion of season one. Despite the fact that it has been seven years since the first episode aired, fans are not ready to give up hope for season two, despite the fact that it takes a maximum of five years for a program to be renewed and that it has already been seven years since the first episode aired.
However, no matter how tiny the possibilities of season two of Loo are, there are some considerations we should keep in mind in order to not completely give up hope for the show’s continuation. It’s vital to remember that the original manga series is divided into 17 volumes, each of which comprises 85 chapters in total.
The TV adaptations, on the other hand, have only utilized ten episodes plus an OVA. Without a doubt, there is sufficient source material for a television adaptation. Unfortunately, the manga came to an end in December of that year. Even in that case, we can hope that Brian’s Rase will choose one more season of the series to watch. The second possibility is based on how the first season performed in terms of viewership statistics (or lack thereof).
On MyAnimeList, the show received a rating of 7.31/10 from 295,687 votes, whilst it received a rating of 7.1/10 from 1705 votes on IMDb. Following the figures, it would not be surprising to suppose that Blood Lad did actually do very well and had a high overall score, providing even another reason for the game’s makers to consider developing a sequel.

Blood Lad Season 2 expected Plot
A roller coaster swing of emotions and some powerful sentiments made Season 1 a memorable one. Season 2 is expected to be a roller coaster of strife and sorrow before the anticlimax.
In order for Staz to help Fuyumi, he must put his entire being into it. The maze that will lead him and Fuyumi to Human World is a challenge he must also face.
Staz, too, is unsure about where he fits in modern society. It’s not going over well with his henchmen who are fed up with him for not doing more to run their territory.
the most anticipated episode of Season 2 will be Fuyumi’s return. The outcome of her human existence will be decided by this if they are successful in their mission. Staz, on the other hand, is caught in the middle after Hydra expressed an interest in him. They can’t go to the human world without her.
However, he finds himself pulled to Fuyumi due of her human qualities as well.
When it comes to Season 2, Staz needs to make sure that he doesn’t alienate existing supporters by siding with any of the characters.
Unfortunately, Hydra and Fuyumi’s long-lost family history is a mystery to Staz. Hydra’s mother makes the revelation. The fact that Wolf is close friends with Staz gives him the confidence he needs to deal with these difficulties. One of them is the battle against Akim.
Because he holds Hydra and Staz in such high regard, he may appear as befuddled as Staz from time to time. In addition, he works with Dr. Frankenstein to keep Fuyumi alive until she arrives. He rescues the day by translating the Book of Resurrection with Braz’s help.
Braz demands in return that they take on Akim, a rival of Staz’s. Hydra, on the other hand, has spoken to Staz about her thoughts, and she believes that after seeing the Human realm, he will realize how much better the Demon world was.
