Micah Meggs Obituary: Actress Olivia Plath Mourns Loss of Brother in Fatal Electric Bike Crash!

According to investigators, the brother of “Welcome to Plathville” actress Olivia Plath, Micah Meggs, perished last week after an automobile ran over his electric bicycle on a Virginia roadway.

He was 15 Meggs, of Rocky Mount, Virginia, and was reportedly slain on May 4 in Franklin County, according to the Virginia State Police, as reported by the Roanoke Times. The publication said he was struck by a Honda Accord and died due to his injuries.

At before 10 p.m. EDT, the Honda struck the teen who was riding an electric bicycle in the right southbound lane of U.S. 220 while it was also moving south, according to WSLS-TV.

According to the Times, the Honda’s driver was unharmed. Meggs is the tenth of ten children, per his website obituary.

According to People, 25-year-old Plath, who is married to actor Ethan Plath, has not made any public remarks over the passing of her brother.

“I lost a younger brother last night to an unexpected accident and I need some clarity and space for grieving.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, the family, who allegedly resides in a rural area of South Georgia, is the subject of a TLC reality series that includes Olivia Plath and her husband. The program debuted in 2019.
