Officer Involved Shooting in Jennings County Being Looked Into by State Police

An officer-involved shooting happened at a rural Jennings County residence on Friday afternoon, and the Indiana State Police (ISP) has launched an investigation into the incident.

Detectives from the ISP said that around 2:30 p.m., SWAT members from the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office went to the 4000 Block of West County Road 175N to arrest Devin C. Lark, 29, of Seymour. He was wanted for a number of crimes.

When the deputies got there, Lark ran away on foot, and they went after him. When police tried to arrest Lark, he allegedly pulled out a gun and wouldn’t put it down when they told him to.
