In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bradley revealed that the storytelling in Season 2 would be different from the “end of the world” storylines that we saw in Season 1. According to her, Season 2 would “focus more on the character tales and these heroes and exposing a new side to them that people don’t anticipate and maybe they can connect to.”
What If…second ?’s season may benefit from a focus on its characters. What If…? might be a chance for fans and viewers to spend more time with new characters, especially as more characters join the MCU in the next year. In light of all the hype surrounding the Guardians of the Multiverse, we may expect to see this team-up again.
