Get out of her path if you’re not a fan of hairspray. Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast member Teresa Giudice wedded Luis Ruela in front of family and friends on Saturday in East Brunswick, New Jersey at the Park Chateau.

But Lucia Casazza, the hairstylist on the bride’s glam squad, was the star of the show with Teresa Giudice towering hairstyle. For his Sirius XM radio show, Andy Cohen interviewed Tre Casazza on Monday morning and disclosed all of the intricacies of the over-the-top outfit that Tre has worn since Season 3 of Bravo’s reality show.

Considering Teresa is dubbed “the Queen of Jersey,” Casazza explained, “we wanted hair that was suitable for a queen.” “Either you go big or you go home,” the saying goes. “My hair has to be over the top,” Teresa insisted.

It was discovered that Ruela wants his bride’s hair off of her face, so the stylist made sure that Giudice had her hair swept into a half-up style inside an enormous crown on the big day.

After seeing brides from Italy and the Mediterranean region with elaborate hairdos, Casazza decided to create her own mesh piece with real human hair extensions for $7,000 or more. The cost of the design? A little more than $2,000. For the reception, Giudice changed into a different gown, but she wore her massive hair and crown the entire time.

Before she could “perform any dirty wild wedding activities” with the groom, Casazza and the glam team had to remove more than 1,500 bobby pins from Teresa Giudice hair after the reception.

It was a “Rapunzel, let down your hair moment for former “Real Housewives of New York” star Dorinda Medley who called into Cohen’s radio show to deliver the inside scoop from the wedding. But she’s got the chops to pull it off. “It worked,” Giudice’s hair was likened to Marge Simpson’s because of its towering height, while Cindy Lou Who and “The Bride of Frankenstein” were also compared.

Dorinda Medley took a picture with the newlyweds and afterward called Radio Andy to justify her thoughts on the wedding. Others joked that Joe and Melissa Gorga, her brother and sister-in-law, were hiding in her hair. As a result of a quarrel with the bride, the couple canceled their wedding at the last minute.

At BravoCon in the fall of this year, Cohen requested that Casazza bring the extensions to show off the new look. Tre’s hair will go down in history thanks to a Bravo wedding special.
