It was confirmed to Variety by the Nashville police that Michelle Branch was arrested for domestic assault. Michelle Branch arrest came after she publicly announced her separation from Patrick Carney, the drummer for “The Black Keys,” after three years of marriage. Court documents showed that Branch had slapped Carney “one to two times,” as first reported. The judge decided to grant Branch $1,000 bail.
The year 2019 saw the union of Branch and Carney. Branch told, “To say that I am totally devastated doesn’t even come close to describing how I feel for myself and for my family.” The floor has been yanked out from under me, and now I must devise a plan of action. Having young children at home requires some space and consideration.
