John Schneider is sad about the death of his wife, Alicia Allain. She died after a long fight with breast cancer. She turned 53.
In a Facebook post, the “Dukes of Hazzard” star shared the sad news. He sent a picture of Allain giving him a thumbs up and another picture of him holding her hand. He wrote –
“My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus. Please respect our privacy during this time of grief.”
“…hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did.”
Early on Thursday, Schneider posted another photo of him and Allain and wrote about his “unimaginable sorrow” and grief. The “Smallville” alum, 62, wrote in a second post –
“Alicia was the fuel that ran my biggest dreams. The inspiration behind every creative thought. The very fabric of my soul. The glue that held me together.”
“I miss her more than any words could possibly describe. Pain is too small a word. Grief is too small a word. Love itself is too small a word.”
Allain said on “Fox and Friends” in 2020 that she had been told over Memorial Day Weekend 2019 that she had stage 4 HER2-negative cancer. Schneider said in the interview with Allain that she was three years into a five-year shelf life.
