‘iCarly’ has been renewed by Paramount+ for a season 3. Since Nickelodeon aired the original series for six seasons between 2007 and 2012, this will be the ninth season total. In 2023, the third season of the revival will premiere.
Tanya Giles, chief programming officer of streaming for Paramount+, said, “‘iCarly’s’ passionate fan base grew up with Carly, Spencer, and Freddie, and have now fallen for Harper and Millicent, too.”

Resurrected series stars Carly Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, Laci Mosley, and Jaidyn Triplett as Carly, Spencer, Freddie, Harper, and Millicent in the cast. In the new season, Carly and Harper return to Seattle and share an apartment. In the end, she chooses to relaunch her web program with the support of both old and new acquaintances.

A Nickelodeon Studios production, “iCarly” is exec produced by Ali Schouten-Seeks and Cosgrove, with Schouten acting as showrunner. It’s produced by Jerry Trainor with help from his friends at iFilm and Alissa Vradenburg. There is no Dan Schneider participating in the revival of the original series.

Another Nickelodeon show is getting an updated version on Paramount+, and it isn’t “iCarly.” “Rugrats” and a live-action follow-up to “Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder” have both had fresh seasons air on the streaming service.
