During the Hiro Mashima Fan Meeting Livestream in September 2021, the news was shared by Shonen Magazine. It is also a part of the Fairy Tail series’ 15th-anniversary party.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a Japanese manga that is written by Hiro Mishima and drawn by Atsuo Ueda. In this sequel, Hiro Mishima only works as a storyboarder, which is different from the first one.
In August 2018, the first page of the manga came out. Since then, there have been 13 volumes of manga out in the world.

When will Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest come out?
So far, there has been no more news about the anime adaptation. Shonen Magazine’s official Twitter account posted a teaser and a visual key animation.
By mid-2023, the fans should hear something. Early 2014 is thought to be when this sequel comes out. We don’t know anything about the studio or the cast, but the cast will probably be the same.
On the other hand, this sequel might not be made by A-1 Pictures because its sequel, Eden’s Zero, is animated by J.C. Staff.
