It has been announced that Blake Shelton will perform in Upstate New York in 2023. The Keybank Center in Buffalo, New York, will host the country music superstar on March 25, 2023. In addition to Carly Pearce, a nominee for the CMA Awards, and rising star Jackson Dean, this will be his only show in the state of New York on his 18-date “Back the Honky Tonk” tour.
Ticketmaster will begin selling them at noon on Friday, September 16. Prices will depend on demand. American Express cardholders will have access to a pre-sale on Tuesday. Shelton stated in a press release, “There’s nothing like getting out on the road and taking music to the fans.” Like the first time I performed, I can’t wait to get out on that stage again.
I’m sure Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean, two of my fellow tour mates, share this sentiment, and I’m excited for you to meet them. We’re headed back to the honky tonk, so put on your cowboy hats and cowboy boots! Shelton has been a judge on “The Voice” for a long time, and his songs “Some Beach,” “Doin’ What She Likes,” “Honey Bee,” and “God Gave Me You” are all fan favorites, as are his duets with wife Gwen Stefani on “Happy Anywhere” and “Nobody But You.”
He just came out with a song called “No Body,” which is a throwback to the ’90s because it sounds like a country song from that era and even features him sporting a mullet. It will be Shelton’s third show in Upstate New York in the last decade. His 2013 concert at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts sold out, and the previous year he played at Waterloo, Iowa’s del Lago Resort & Casino, to a packed house.
The most famous concert genre at this year’s New York State Fair is hip hop, replacing previous favorites like country and rock.
