To put your mind at ease, Demon Slayer season 3 already has slated for release. One of the most popular anime series in the world, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (The Movie: Mugen Train) has gathered a devoted following around the world, eagerly anticipating the return of the program.
There will be no new episodes of Tanjiro and Nezuko until the conclusion of the second season, which included the Mugen Train and Entertainment District arcs. All the details for the third season of Demon Slayer are here.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date
The bad news first. For the third season of Demon Slayer, we’d expect a two-and-a-half-year break between the first and second seasons. We estimate that the third season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village will be released in the fall of 2023.
Fortunately, the official Demon Slayer Twitter account published the first teaser image for the third season in February 2022 and confirmed that the show was in the works. Twitter feeds are used to populate this page. On their website, you may be able to discover the same content in a different format or with more information, as well.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Cast
The third season of Demon Slayer has yet to air, but we can assume that the actors from seasons one and two will return. Episode 21 of season one introduced the first two main characters: Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, and Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji.
The following is a list of all of Demon Slayer’s main characters’ Japanese and English voice actors.
Tanjiro Kamado – Natsuki Hanae / Zach Aguilar (English)
Zach Aguilar provides the English dub of Tanjiro Kamado in Mugen Train, while Natsuki Hanae provides the Japanese dub.
Nezuko Kamado – Akari Kitô / Abby Trott (English)
Abby Trott is a voice actress and vocalist from the United States. Prior to migrating to the United States and joining Bang Zoom! Entertainment, she worked in Japan on puppet shows before moving to the United States.
For example, she starred in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba as Nezuko Kamado, Shaman King: The Return of Yoh Asakura, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice as Maya Fey. She also sang the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate main theme in English.
Other Members
- Inosuke Hashibira – Yoshitsugu Matsuoka / Bryce Papenbrook (English)
- Zenitsu Agatsuma – Hiro Shimono / Aleks Le (English)
- Muzan Kibutsuji – Toshihiko Seki / Greg Chun (English)
Demon Slayer Season 3 Plot
The Swordsmith Village arc, the ninth manga arc, will be the focus of season three’s plot, according to official confirmation. A rare opportunity for anime viewers to learn (approximately) what the future holds for Tanjiro and his friends exists because the Demon Slayer manga officially ended in 2020.
As a result, here are some spoilers! After Tanjiro and Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui defeated the demon siblings Gyutaro and Daki in the Entertainment District arc, the Swordsmith Village storyline begins.
Tanjiro’s demon-slaying sword was the lone permanent loss from this epic encounter. Hotaru Haganezuka, a swordsmith, will be repairing Tanjiro’s broken blade in the Swordsmith Village in Demon Slayer season 3.
Tanjiro and his companions will, of course, be confronted by hordes of demons while they are there (including an Upper-Rank Six that splits themselves across multiple bodies). Mutant Muichiro Tokito steps in to take care of the thread, fortunately.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Trailer
In April 2022, Crunchyroll and Ufotable unveiled the first teaser trailer for the third season of the popular anime show (sort of). It’s a bit of a stretch to call it a trailer, given that it’s essentially a recap of the first and second seasons, highlighting some of the best moments.

Love Hashiras and the Mist, who we know will play a major role in the upcoming third season, are featured prominently in this season’s opener.
If we assume that the third season of Demon Slayer will premiere in late 2023, we can anticipate seeing a complete trailer in June 2023, based on past seasons. Keep an eye on things. Crunchyroll and Netflix are both streaming options for Demon Slayer.
