The much-anticipated new season of American Horror Story is starting to take shape, at least in terms of the cast list. In Season 11 of FX’s horror anthology, regulars Zachary Quinto, Billie Lourd, and Patti LuPone will be back, according to an interview with the cast.
FX has not announced any casting, but photographers have caught Lourd and Season 10 alum Isaac Powell, Sandra Bernhard (Pose), and Charlie Carver filming scenes in New York City this week (Ratched, Teen Wolf).

Since Season 10’s Double Feature finale aired in October, fans of American Horror Story have been scrambling to get any updates about the series. Until now, all we’ve known is when the show will debut, or at least what season it would debut in.
FX chairman John Landgraf revealed at the Television Critics Association summer press tour last week that production on Season 11 will begin this fall.
Star Trek: The Next Generation star Zachary Quinto was a guest star in the first two seasons of Horror Story, and his performance as the crazed doctor Oliver Thredson in the second season’s Asylum was particularly memorable.
Lourd first appeared in the seventh season episode “Cult,” and she became a regular cast member for the next three seasons, as well as making an appearance in the American Horror Stories offshoot on Hulu. In the third season of Coven, LuPone portrayed the nosy neighbor Joan Ramsey.
