You Season 4 Release Date: When is It Coming to Netflix?

You Season 4: On February 9, 2023, at 8 a.m., Netflix in the UK will exclusively debut the upcoming new season of the American psychological thriller. Having crossed the Atlantic to work in England, Gossip Girl actor Penn Badgley is reprising his role as Joe Goldberg, but this time he is posing as a bearded professor Jonathan Moore.

Following the events of series three, murderer Joe relocated to London. According to Netflix production stills, YOU season four portions were shot on location at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire. While it is still unknown what part Knebworth House will play in the show, new season 4 cast members Tilly Keeper as aristocratic socialite Lady Phoebe and Charlotte Ritchie as art gallery director Kate can be seen outside the Gothic-style stately estate in the first-look pictures posted by Netflix.

“Fearsomely clever, independent, distrustful, and extremely loyal to her pals” is how one person describes Kate. She is mainly devoted to protecting Lady Phoebe, her greatest friend. In addition to disliking Joe when he joins their privileged environment, Kate strongly suspects he is not who he seems to be.

Tilly Keeper is best known for her role as Louise Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. She plays the kind, caring, famous, and wealthy Phoebe. In another publicity shot, Joe is pictured getting close to new cast member Charlotte Ritchie, who stars as Bonnie Evans in Grantchester and plays Alison Cooper in the sitcom Ghosts.

By the end of the series, Joe was in Paris looking for his newest obsession, librarian Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle). Season 4 sequences were shot in London, where Joe assumed professor Jonathan Moore’s persona. Tower Bridge can be seen in the background of one of the production photos made available by Netflix. The fourth season of You will “explore new, dark dimensions of love,” according to the creators.

In season 3, viewers learned that Joe and his equally murderous wife, Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), were now wed and parenting their child after relocating to the idyllic Northern California community of Madre Linda, where they are surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, critical mommy bloggers, and famous biohackers on Instagram.

Greg and I became immediately enamored with Joe Goldberg and his twisted worldview when reading Caroline’s book. And watching Penn bring Joe to be scary yet intriguing life has been thrilling, according to executive producer Sera Gamble.

The sneak peek clip features Joe saying, “I’m not the adoring book store manager in New York, the shop clerk in LA, or the devoted husband in the suburbs.” “No, not right now. I want to say hello. I’ve undergone some maturation since I crossed the pond. And being in London has given me the opportunity to you will bury the past.

You Season 4 Plot

To put it mildly, your third season’s end was quite dramatic. Even by his standards, Joe did a bit too far when he killed his wife Love (Victoria Pedretti), left their infant with another family, pretended to die, baked his toe into a pie to blame Love for the tragedy, and then set fire to his suburban California home.

When we last saw Joe, he was going by “Nick,” and he had just arrived in Paris to look for Marienne, a native of that city. As far as we know, the majority of You season 4 will take place in London, with a small portion of the season taking place in Paris.

At the Netflix Tudum event, it was announced that Joe had adopted a new persona. He is currently posing as Jonathan Moore, a college lecturer. This makes sense given that Royal Holloway University served as the venue for some of the show’s filming. He hasn’t yet clarified what he’s doing in his new life.
