There wasn’t much new video from House of the Dragon at Comic-Con, but HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel series House of Cards is releasing new images every day. More dragons are on the way today.
There’s a new behind-the-scenes film that gives viewers a look at some of the fantasy drama’s biggest threats and how the players dealt with them in a behind-the-scenes look.
In this instalment of Game of Thrones, the Targaryen dragons Syrax and Caraxes, ridden by Princess Rhaenyra and Prince Daemon, take centre stage. The sneak look, on the other hand, contains concept sketches of other dragons engaged in combat.

An enormous LED screen projected live visual effects onto a mechanical buck at Comic-Con on Saturday, where the actors in the dragon-flying scenes discussed the process of shooting the scenes. As a bonus, the new film also shows how that procedure went.
“An LED screen wraps around the Volume Stage. As a result, there’s no need for a green or blue screen anymore. It’s a computer gaming world that moves in sync with the camera, giving the illusion of depth perception “This is what D’Arcy, who plays Rhaenyra as an adult, tells EW about her role as the younger Rhaenyra.
“I’ve never had so much fun on a ride as I did on the buck. Actually, it’s making me giddy. Because I was so happy, I had to work hard to get the smile off my face. It’s just for fun.”
The Targaryen dynasty ruled Westeros for hundreds of years first before the events of Game of Thrones took place. Showrunner and programme co-creator Ryan Condal comments, “The Targaryens are a fascinating empire that we don’t know much concerning from the original books because they had all died out at that point.”

“There was a time when Westeros was controlled by a horde of Targaryens, dragons, and other magnificent creatures. Even though the Targaryens were a peaceful and prosperous family, everyone knew that if you interfered with them or their dragons, you would get the dragons. As a result, no one attempted to topple the king.”

In the end, the Targaryens brought themselves to ruin. Alicent Hightower, played by Emily Carey in the first season of House of the Dragon, is Rhaenyra’s childhood best friend, who is later played by Olivia Cooke.
As the successor to the Iron Throne, King Viserys I names his daughter Rhaenyra as his sole heir (Paddy Considine). As a result of Alicent marrying Viserys and having a son, the kingdom of Westeros is split in two over the inheritance. The Dance of the Dragons, one of Westeros’ bloodiest civil wars, is the result of this.
