Tokyo Revengers Chapter 240 Summary
While waiting for Chifuyu to arrive at D&D Motorcycle Shop, Takemichi and Hakkai discuss how they would notify him of his removal as Thousand Winters’ manager when Chifuyu himself arrives.
He inquires of the two about what they were discussing, and they break out in a cold sweat as one of them presses the other to reveal the bad news. Chifuyu, on the other hand, concedes that he is inadequate as the team’s adviser and arranges a meeting with Mitsuya in order to recruit him for the post, confidently thinking that he would perform better in the role.
Upon learning of Chifuyu‘s request, Mitsuya agrees to take control and suggests remodeling the gang’s look, as well as the name of the organization.
When Chifuyu hears this, he scowls, but Takemichi and Hakkai are overjoyed at the prospect of working together. Mitsuya assures Takemichi that he and the rest of the squad have placed their faith in him after learning that Pah-chin, Peh-yan, and the Kawata twins have all decided to join.
Takemichi meets with Takeomi a few days later to encourage Senju to join the gang, since she had been rejecting his calls as a result of the unfortunate conclusion of the Battle of Three Deities. Takeomi agrees to let Senju join the group.
The journey of Takeomi and Takemichi brings them to Brahman’s previous hideaway, where they finally encounter Senju. They have a brief conversation during which Senju regrettably informs him that she has already resigned since she has grasped the ramifications of her defeat to the South and the disbanding of Brahman during the war.
Takemichi tries to comfort her, but to no avail. Takeomi mutters to himself, reminding Senju that she was not the one who tossed him and his brother Haruchiyo into the sea. As it turns out, Senju is responsible for Haruchiyo’s death as well as Mikey’s evil inclinations and that it was all her fault from the beginning of the story.
When Takemichi and Takeomi discover Senju’s confession, they are both shocked and outraged. Senju then recalls her childhood days with Mikey, Baji, and Haruchiyo, whom she used to trail behind on a regular basis.
