Netflix’s Spanish-language teen romance Through My Window was a big hit. It was based on the book of the same name, which had the same title in Spanish.
A popular and mysterious man named Ares and a talented but a little naive woman named Raquel were the two lovers in the movie. There is, of course, a lot of drama between best friends and family.
After the end of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and The Kissing Booth, Netflix needs a new show for teens to watch. Through My Window is going to be in the spotlight soon. Netflix said today that not one, but two sequels to the movie are being made. Through My Window 2 (and 3!).

Through My Window 2Â cast
Netflix has said that all of the main cast members will be back for the second movie. We will see Julio Pea as Ares and Clara Galle as Raquel.
The younger brother Apolo and the older brother Artemis are both back. Raquel’s two best friends, Daniela and Yoshi, will also be back.
Because their screen time was small in the first movie, it’s likely that they will be in this one, too, because their impact on the storey was big. It’s also possible that some new people will join the cast to make things even more interesting.
Ariana Godoy, the author of Through My Window, thought that chemistry was the most important thing for the Netflix adaptation’s cast. If there is a sequel, expect that to be the case, too.
Then Godoy said: “Well, in my head, they don’t look any different” (via CheatSheet). “In my head, they don’t have faces, even though I write about them. For Ares and Raquel, I just want them to get along. Those were my main things. I don’t care how they look. I only care about the chemistry because the chemistry is what makes the whole book and movie work.”
Through My Window 2Â plot
Ares and Raquel break up at the end of the movie so Ares can study medicine and Raquel can study literature. The two of them do, however, keep in touch through text messages. Also, Ares was seen climbing through the window of Raquel. Their storey hasn’t been told yet. Ariana Godoy is writing a new book. She will also write the storey lines for the next two movies.
No one knows what will happen in the second movie because the second book isn’t out yet. There will be a chance to pre-order A través de mi Ventana 2 on May 24.
There is also a third book on Wattpad about Ares’ younger brother “Apollo.” It is based on his storey. There might be new people in the next movie to make the sequel more interesting.
