Get yourself ready for some witchy fun! Now is the time to defend your hometown, the city of Dungeonidas which is currently under attack. Today, the developers of the next bullet hell Metroidvania game, The Knight Witch, Team17, and Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team, confirmed the release date for the game.
On November 29, The Knight Witch will be released, offering a gameplay experience unlike any other in 2D. More information can be found in a press release. In addition, a brand new trailer gives gamers a preview of all the action that awaits them when they play the game.
Players are now sent to an underground city under attack by the Knight Witch. Players will assume the role of Rayne and use her skills to protect their town and rid it of the evil that has been tormenting it. When it comes to the progression of Rayne’s character, gamers will have a lot of options at their disposal.
It is important to note that they have the option of upgrading either her witch powers or her knight powers. Perhaps even a mix of the two possibilities. Naturally, these upgrades come in the form of different cards in a deck-building approach similar to evolution.
It would appear that you are going to require as many enhancements as you can get. The gameplay will be in the form of a bullet hell Metroidvania, and there will be plenty of foes for players to defeat. On the other hand, the evil guys aren’t the only ones you need to be concerned about.
Players can form and sever relationships with a large number of playable characters. In the newly released gameplay trailer for the game, players will be able to catch a look at all of this action.
The Knight Witch will be available on November 29 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC through Steam. So, are you ready to become your knight witch?
