The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Confirmed Or Not?

Hulu’s best-known show is getting The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5, it has been confirmed. In June 2022, Hulu teased a first look at the new season on Instagram, along with the date of its premiere. June is depicted in a white veil flowing upwards, while Serena smiles and looks down while wearing a black gown.

Fans will recall that at the conclusion of season four, Commander Fred Waterford was assassinated by June and her fellow handmaids, and his finger was sent to a pregnant Serena who had been allowed freedom in Canada.

The two-episode premiere will take place on September 14 and will be followed by new episodes each week thereafter, according to the streaming service. Unfortunately, the UK release date has not yet been revealed, but we can expect it to air on Channel 4 soon after its US debut.

These photos were taken with an iPhone and then imported from Instagram. On their website, you may discover the same content in a different format or even more information.

In an interview with TV Line earlier this year, Elisabeth Moss, who portrays June, said of the upcoming season: ‘I will say that the season itself is possibly one of the crazier trips that we’ve had. There are seasons when a lot happens, and seasons when a lot doesn’t occur. I’m having a hard time keeping up this year.

These are not just empty words. To be honest, the pace of things is so frenetic that I’m beginning to feel overwhelmed. As a result, we’ve had a lot of fun, but it’s also meant a lot of work and time spent on location.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Ending

Mary Osborne had been attempting to escape Gilead for years before she succeeded. Fred Waterford finally got his comeuppance after years of being abused and controlled by her. After that, what happens?

June and a group of other women corner Fred in the woods and beat him to death in the Season 4 conclusion of The Handmaid’s Tale. A devastated June is found by her husband, Luke, in her daughter Nichole’s room the next morning. In spite of the fact that he has no idea what she did, he is certain that it is not good for her. June has a good idea of what Luke is thinking even if he doesn’t say anything.

“I’ve thought about it. I’m sorry “He hears her whispering. “Please, allow me five minutes. Give me five minutes with her and I’ll be out of here!”

One option is that she may have to answer for killing Fred in the forests of No Man’s Land, but showrunner Bruce Miller wants to underline that June’s leaving, if she follows through with it, would be her own decision.

For Miller, the choice should be hers and not a result of it. “Because once she’s faced with the repercussions of her actions, she’s the only one responsible for them. But for the time being, there isn’t a crime to be committed. No one has any idea what’s going on here. It appears Fred has been traded.”

Alternatively, she may not attend at all. June is still reeling after her long-awaited awakening at the end of the episode. “She may or may not depart, I don’t know. She is compelled to do so, “Miller revealed.
