In spite of the fact that the title suggests a family drama, The Good Wife is actually an American political drama series. This is a must-see for anyone who enjoys political television. The Good Wife ruled the roost when it aired, but now criminal thrillers and mysteries are all the rage. Since the first episode aired in 2009, fans have been able to see all seven seasons. Fans and critics loved it, which led to many more seasons and an easy future for this American sitcom.

Five Emmy Awards have been given to The Good Wife, which was created by Robert King and Michelle King.
