A Texas Stalker Who Killed A Washington Woman And Her Husband Broke Into Her Home

Police said a truck driver from Texas who had been following the woman and listening to her podcast carried out a home invasion early on Friday morning in the state of Washington and killed the podcast host and her husband.

The suspect, who has been identified as Ramin Khodakaramrezaei, 38, is believed to have entered the couple’s home in Redmond, which is located around 15 miles northeast of Seattle, through a window at approximately 2:00 a.m. on the day of the shooting. The woman’s mother managed to flee the house and go to the home of a neighbor where she dialed 911.

Jill Green, a spokesperson for the Redmond Police Department, stated that when officers arrived, they discovered the woman’s husband, who was 35 years old, with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim received CPR from the police, but he could not be saved due to his injuries. Both the gunman and the victim, a lady in her thirties, were located dead inside the apartment. Green stated that the gunman had shot himself in the head before taking his own life. According to Green, the shooter had been following the victim for “several months” before the incident.

She said-

“Apparently he got to know her because of a podcast that she was doing and they struck up kind of a friendship, talked. But then he began to just send a lot of messages to the point that she decided to disengage and talk to us and our investigators in getting a restraining order”

The stalking investigation is still ongoing, according to a news release issued by the police on Friday afternoon. The report stated that detectives were already familiar with the victim.

When exactly the woman went to court to get the restraining order against him is unclear. Green stated that cops were unable to serve the suspect “because we weren’t able to make touch with him” due to the fact that the suspect lived in the state of Texas.

“It’s just unfortunate that the stalking ended in such a tragic way,” Green said. Green expressed regret that the act of stalking resulted in such a horrible outcome. “It’s simply unfortunate,” Green added. The identities of the people who were killed have not been made public. The shooting is being looked into at this time.
