Terra Formars Season 3 Plot

The story takes place in the twenty-first century when scientists are attempting to colonize Mars. They want to seed the planet with modified algae, which will absorb sunlight and purify the atmosphere as a result of their efforts. The show jumps forward 500 years to the present day.
