Tax Refunds Worth $7.2 Million to Be Released This Week

2,931 tax refunds for previous tax years up to 2020 have been processed by the Department of Revenue & Taxation. The Department of Administration will then pay through mailing the checks or depositing the tax refunds directly this week. 

Approximately $7,207,690.00 worth of total income tax refunds will be paid including those intended for government debts repayment. This sum came from the 2,931 error-free returns filed on or before May 16, 2021. 

The total refund payments for fiscal year-to-date have already been over $200 million.

To track your income tax return status, go to https://www.myguamtax.com/, log in to your individual account and look for the  ‘Lookup Status of 1040

However, DRT suggests using their online tools such as the ‘Lookup Status’, or reaching them online through the ‘Contact Us’ button on their website and emailing them at incometax@revtax.guam.gov to follow up instead of calling because of their high call volumes.
