Tatjana Patitz died at the age of 56. She was best known for her cameo in one of George Michael’s music videos. The star, who died recently, was one of the best supermodels of the 1980s and 1990s, according to her agents, who confirmed the sad news today.

Tatjana was in the famous music video for George Michael’s hit song “Freedom” in 1990. She was in the video with Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington, three other famous models at the time.

Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue, said that Tatjana, who was born in Hamburg, was “the European symbol of chic” when she paid tribute to her today. Vogue is the fashion world’s most famous magazine.

Tatjana’s agent at the Model CoOp in New York City told the press this morning that the model had died “recently,” but the cause of death has not yet been made public.

Anna Wintour, the global editorial director of Vogue, said in a tribute this morning that Tatjana was always the European face of style, like a mix of Romy Schneider and Monica Vitti.

“She was far less visible than her peers—more mysterious, more grown-up, more unattainable—and that had its own appeal.” Tatjana modelled for Versace and Chanel and was on the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Marie Claire.

Tatjana was in the video for Duran Duran’s Skin Trade as well as George Michael’s Freedom. She and the other model she starred with were called the “supermodels of the 1990s” because of that video. In the 1993 Sean Connery movie Rising Sun, she played a woman who was killed.

Tatjana dated famous men like singer Nick Kamen, musician Seal, and former James Bond Pierce Brosnan. In 2019, she walked the runway at Milan wearing an Etro dress.

Her last Instagram post was in August. It was two pictures of her dogs Matilda and Gabby, which she called “the best.” Tatjana, who was born in Hamberg but later moved to Sweden with her family, came third in a national modeling competition in Stocholm when she was 17 years old.

She got a trip to Paris and a short-term job as her prize. Fans of the beautiful woman were saddened by the news, and one person wrote on Twitter: “Can’t believe Tatjana Patitz is gone! One of the first Supermodels. R.I.P.”

Another wrote: “Wow. An icon of beauty and fashion. RIP Tatjana Patitz.” A third person said: “Devastating news – will always remember her in George Michael’s Freedom video.”

Tatjana’s son Jonah Johnson, whom she had with her ex-husband Jason Johnson, is the only person who will remember her… Follow us on Journalistpr.com to get more news like this.
