Southwest Investigating Pilot’s Use Of The Anti-Biden Slogan On Speakers

On Sunday, Southwest Airlines said, “it’s conducting an internal investigation after one of its pilots used a phrase that’s become a stand-in for insulting President Joe Biden during the pilot’s greeting to passengers over the plane’s public address system last week.”

The airline says that it will investigate against the Related Press who reported about the incident in the story about the increasing use of the slogan “Let’s go, Brandon,” saying in the traditional circles for the rudeness targeting Mr. Biden.

On Friday’s flight from Houston to Albuquerque., The Pilot’s use of the slogan attracted audible gasps from some passengers. There was an AP reporter on the flight.

The airline said in a statement it would “address the situation directly with any Employee involved while continuing to remind all Employees that public expression of personal opinions while on duty is unacceptable.”

“Southwest does not condone Employees sharing their personal political opinions while on the job serving our Customers, and one Employee’s individual perspective should not be interpreted as the viewpoint of Southwest and its collective 54,000 Employees,” the statement said.

On Oct. 2 event at a NASCAR race in Alabama was won by Brandon Brown, a 28-year-old driver who was being talked about by an NBC Sports reporter.

The people Behind Brandon Brown were singing or repeating something. The reporter says that they were cheering him by saying “Let’s go, Bardon”. But it became totally clear to the viewers that they were saying, “F** Joe Biden.”

A few conservatives have highlighted the scene to act as an illustration of U.S. media covering for Mr. Biden. From that point forward, the expression has been articulated on the House floor by a Republican administrator and utilized regularly by Biden pundits via web-based media and at fights to hammer the Democratic president.

According to The Washington Post, “The incident was a hot topic on social media over the weekend, with people cheering and jeering the pilot.”
