Snowpiercer Season 4 Plot

Snowpiercer is based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, written by Jacques Lob and illustrated by Jean Giraudoux. It was published in France in 2010.

The film adaptation directed by Bong Joon-ho premiered at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival to critical acclaim. A sequel titled La Cité des canons will be released later this year.

Snowpiercer follows an unspecified number of survivors who have escaped the destruction of their world through constructing a transcontinental railway system that circles the globe, with each card representing one human life.

When he first encounters it, the protagonist Chris Evans believes himself living in a utopia where everyone is equal under a post-apocalyptic future by corporations. At the same time, director Bong calls his vision “a science fiction movie without guns.”

The characters trap inside a massive moving machine for most of their running time. They must face all kinds of dangers, including cannibalism, murder, rape, torture, suicide, self-mutilation, and death itself.
