During Rihanna’s performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, she did not have a star-studded guest list; yet, there was a highly unexpected onstage cameo.
The singer of “Lift Me Up” appeared on stage at the halftime show for Super Bowl 57 on Sunday wearing a scarlet red ensemble that comprised a stunning jacket and bralette. The event took place in Houston, Texas. The singer, who is 34 years old, was able to display her developing baby bump thanks to the costume, which was a bespoke design by LOEWE.
During the performance, Rihanna could also be seen rubbing her stomach in a gesture that appeared to be a tribute to the child she is expecting. A spokesman for the artist revealed that she is pregnant not long after the singer finished her concert, which lasted 13 minutes.
According to reports from People and Entertainment Tonight from the time, Rihanna and rapper A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, in May of last year. In January of 2022, the pair revealed to the world that they were having a child with photographs that displayed the singer’s growing baby bulge. Rihanna flaunted her expanding pregnancy by wearing a long pink coat with the buttons undone and accessorizing it with long body chains that fell past her belly.
Rihanna graced the cover of the May issue of Vogue magazine, which was published just before the couple welcomed their child into the world. In the article, she talked about Rocky moving out of the “friend zone,” the moment when she and the rapper “became my family,” and how she found out that she was pregnant.
She disclosed to the fashion portal that although the couple’s most recent excursion into fatherhood was not something they had planned, they were also not opposed to the prospect of having another child.

“It was just there on the test. I didn’t waste any time,” Rihanna said of learning she was pregnant for the first time. “I called him inside and showed him. Then I was in the doctor’s office the next morning and our journey began.”
Rihanna announced in March 2020 that she intends to start a family of three or four children within the next ten years: “I know I will want to live differently,” she told British Vogue of how she sees her future. “I’ll have kids – three or four of ’em.”
